YOGA
Yoga was created to prepare the body for meditation.  It is literally translated to mean "union".  Union of the mind, body and spirit.  At Conscious Heart & Mind, yoga is taught in the Kundalini style.  Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness.  In Sanskrit, kundalini literally means “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved."  It is the life force energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine "coiled", envisioned as a serpent.  Kundalini Yoga is practiced to uncoil this life force energy and disperse it throughout the body via the chakra (energy) system with the goal of empowering the participant with higher consciousness.  Dating back to over 5000 years ago, Kundalini was secretly practiced in India as a sacred science, until it was brought to the West in 1969 by way of Yogi Bhajan.  

COACHING
Coaching is a process of self-exploration enabling personal development and improvement.  A relationship is established between client and coach to foster an environment where the client is allowed to openly discuss and pinpoint issues that may be hindering him/her in personal relationships or career achievement.  It is the job of a coach to aid the client in identifying barriers to success, support the client in setting goals and see to it that the client takes action on those goals.  This route is designed to lead the client to successful outcomes.

THE METHOD
